The legend

They say Louis 26 was crowned in Amboise one harvest evening, his crown askew, a glass in one hand and a chicken leg in the other. His reign lasted the length of a ball. He decreed compulsory naps under the arbour, abolished alarm clocks, and has been feasting ever since. His Court awaits you.

The concept

The house of the King history forgot

History does not know him. Touraine does. Louis 26, known as “The Strolling King”, has always reigned over his Court in Amboise. In his own way. He decrees naps under the arbour, abolishes alarm clocks and keeps his table open at every reasonable hour. His Majesty never cared for war: he would rather receive guests. Bar & terrace, a generous table, City Suites for the night and grand feasts for the occasions. At the court of Louis 26, everyone is of royal blood for the length of a meal.
